ACME #883 Opened:  1958 Address: 907 Paoli Pike Photographed:  December 2021 Now that we're done with York (at least for now), let's head up to West Chester for another ACME, before heading to New Jersey. Another store to have opened in the 1950s, ACME #883 opened on August 20, 1958. It was remodeled in 2010, reopening on July 9, 2010. As of February 2022, this is one of the oldest ACME stores still in operation.

ACME #874 Opened:  1954 Address:   1901 Concord Pike Photographed:  December 2021 For our second and final stop in Wilmington, before moving on to Hamburg and York, we have one more store to take a look at -- ACME #874. One of the oldest ACMEs still in operation, store #7874 in Wilmington opened on November 3, 1954. It was later converted to a Super Saver in the 1970s, before being converted back to an ACME in the 1980s. Store #7874 was remodeled around 2010. ACME #2876 Opened:  1974 Address:   1095 W. Baltimore Pike Photographed:  July 2021 ACME #2876, located at the Granite Run Mall, 1095 W. Baltimore Pike in Media, Pennsylvania likely opened with the rest of the mall in 1974. Its exterior was remodeled in the early 2000s, bringing it to what it is today. ACME #3711 Opened:  Around 1991 Address:   121 E. City Ave Photographed:  July 2021 Bala Cynwyd's ACME supermarket, #3711, located at 121 E. City Ave opened around 1991 as the replacement for a store at the other end of the shopping center, which was formerly a Penn Fruit. The original store is now LA Fitness.

ACME store #2680, located at 100 College Square in Newark, Delaware opened on 11/11/2015 in a space formerly occupied by Pathmark, which closed in November 2015 (Similar to the  Rehoboth Beach  store). ACME #3753, located at 600 W. Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania opened on June 1, 2012, as a replacement of a store on the same property, which opened in 1965, closed on May 11, 2011, and was demolished later in 2011.  The original store location, which was demolished in 2011. ACME #3788, 700 W. Lancaster Avenue, located in Devon, Pennsylvania opened in 1979. The store was then expanded in 2003 when the store took over some space formerly occupied by Eckerd. ACME #2679, located at 18578 Coastal Highway in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware opened in November 2015 in a space formerly occupied by A&P-owned Super Fresh, which opened in March 1999. The store continues to coexist with an Albertson's-owned Safeway down the road, which opened in November 2005. This is a rare case, as in Wilmington, DE a Safeway closed in favor of an ACME, and in Dover, DE an ACME closed in favor of a Safeway.
