Giant opened its 45,000 sq. foot New Hampshire Avenue supermarket between 1957 and 1963 under the chain's Super Giant banner. When the Super Giant banner was discontinued, the exterior logo was updated. The logo was updated again in the early 2010s to the current Giant-Landover logo.
