Remodeled Dollar Tree (#4563) - Lancaster, PA

Image
This is a typical Dollar Tree. Concrete floors, Unbranded products, and everything's $1.00. I'm unsure of when it opened (It's a dollar store. Newspapers aren't really going to write articles about it.). It was expanded in early 2021. *cough* "Everything's $1.00" *cough* If you're reading this, you know what happened. Expanded Dollar Tree #4563 A photo I happened to capture back in November 2020, before plans for expansion were known. Quick Information: Opened: Unknown Address:  165 Rohrerstown Rd Photographed: November 2020 / April 2021

Glimpse: Future Five Below (Former Chuck E. Cheeses) - Lancaster, PA

Image
Chuck E Cheeses' Lancaster location, at 2074 Fruitville Pike in Lancaster, Pennsylvania opened in the Mid-1990s with the center. It closed in early 2020 (likely due to the pandemic). In late 2020, Five Below announced that they'd relocate from across the center to the space. Five Below's original location (Google Maps imagery) Chuck E Cheeses (Google Maps) It kind of looks like a late 1990s Rite Aid! The old road sign, which is covered. And, I'll finish up with some aerial shots from Google Earth 2013 view of the building (Google Earth) Future CEC, in 1992 (Google

Rite Aid #11166, located at 1140 Town Square Road in North Coventry, Pennsylvania originally opened in 2004 as a relocation of the store at the Coventry Mall. It became Rite Aid in 2007 with all the other Eckerd stores, and it received the new Rx Revolution signage on the exterior in 2020. The store with the new signage. It looks nice, but I still think it looks better on a Customer World-era Curved store. Before the 2020 signage upgrade (Google Maps in September 2012) And here are the aerial photos from Google Earth. Glimpse: CVS #1669 - Willow Street, PA

Image
CVS #1669, located at 2410 Willow Street Pike in Willow Street, Pennsylvania opened in 2018 as the relocation of the original store, which was located at 103 Willow Valley Square and was formerly a Rea & Derick. It became CVS in 1991, and as stated above, relocated across the street in 2018 as CVS attempted to exit shopping centers. The new location is the newest CVS in Lancaster County and features the newest company prototype.  The Google Streetview car actually drove by as this was being built, so here's a screenshot from Google Maps showing this. The original location, which is tiny. It makes sense why they wanted to move (Google Maps) And here's some aerial shots from Google Earth I probably should've stated this above, but this space was formerly a part of the Willow Valley retirement home After the housing/condos were demolished The new store.  Quick Information: Opened: 1991 / 2018 Address: 103 Willow Valley Square / 2410 Willow Street Pike Photographed: Marc
