The History of Red Rose Commons - Lancaster, PA

Red Rose Commons, The third-largest shopping plaza in Lancaster County originally opened in 1998 with the stores Hollywood Video, PetSmart, Barnes & Noble, Old Country Buffet, Pepboys Auto, Weis Markets, OfficeMax, Party City, Linens N Things, The Home Depot, Sports Authority, Old Navy, and Circuit City. Lancaster's lone Home Depot, which is located at Red Rose Commons. Lancaster's HomeGoods, also at Red Rose Commons Everything remained the same until around 2008 when Linens N Things closed. A year later, in 2009, Circuit City closed. Hollywood Video closed in 2010 and became Verizon. OfficeMax's exterior was remodeled around that time as well. In April 2010, Pennsylvania's first H. H. Gregg opened in the former Circuit City space. In May 2011, HomeGoods opened in the Linens N Things space, leaving this
