Abandoned: Mobil #9632233 - Lancaster, PA
Alrighty. Here we are at another gas station that I have literally no information about except for the fact that it existed. Luckily (not that it's closed, luckily as in it makes a more interesting blog post), this one's abandoned so it's at least a little more interesting... I think it's safe to say that this Mobil opened in or around 1982 (that's when the neighboring Pizza Hut opened). I'll also assume that this is store #9632233 (I found a Mobil receipt from 1999, it says "East Pete[ersburg] Mobil. I'm almost certain that there was never a Mobil in East Petersburg, and this is close enough to the area...) Anyway, it appears to have closed around 2006 (that's when all newspaper references of it disappear) and it's been abandoned since then. As you can see, it's in terrible condition.
