Glimpse: Rite Aid #246 - Hershey, PA | The Rite-Up
RITE AID #246 Opened: 2001 Address: 337 W. Chocolate Ave Photographed: August 2021 Welcome back to The Rite-Up! Today, we make a brief return to the Hershey/Hummelstown area of Dauphin County. After this, we're headed back to Lancaster, then on to Kennett Square. Rite Aid #246, one of approximately 20 with Keystone Drug roots, opened in 1976 at 271 W. Chocolate Ave, upon Rite Aid acquiring Keystone. In 2001, however, Rite Aid would relocate to its current location at 337 W. Chocolate Ave, building a newer, larger, and more modern store. Likely due to its proximity to Rite Aid's corporate headquarters in Camp Hill (planned to relocate to Philadelphia in 2022), this store's exterior is quite deluxe, and does not match (or even resemble) any of the company's other stores from the era.
