WEIS #63 Opened:  1967 Address:   441 W. Main St Photographed:  July 2021 Weis of Mount Joy, store #63, opened in 1967 with a similar design to #65 in Lancaster . It appears that this store was expanded to the right twice, once in the 1970s or 1980s and again in the 1990s. It was also refurbished, bringing the store almost to what it is today, except with a blue canopy and yellow lettering for all the exterior signage. It was remodeled again in 2004, swapping the yellow lettering for red, however, the canopy remained blue until 2011 or 2012. GIANT #6485 Opened:  2011 Address:   789 E. Main St Photographed:  March 2021 Alright, this Giant is pretty much like every other one in Lancaster County so I'm just going to skip the intro and get right into it. Giant's Mount Joy location opened in 2011 and is located at 789 E Main Street. That's just about it. Enjoy my few photos of the store below. This mostly has the standard design of the time, although it was slightly altered specifically for this location. This is one of about four Giant stores in Lancaster County with a gas station. I don't have any photos of it so this Google Maps screenshot will have to do.

Darrenkamps' Mount Joy location, at 945 E Main Street in  Mount Joy, Pennsylvania opened in 1998 as the first traditional Darrenkamp's supermarket. When Giant purchased the chain in 2018, this location was closed (The Willow Street store was the only location to be converted to Giant, Giant operates a store a half a mile down the road). It was a used car "dealership" throughout 2019, and in October 2020, Stauffers of Kissel Hill Fresh Foods (another local grocery store) announced that they planned to open a new store at the space (This will be their 3rd store, or 4th if you count the tiny location on Oregon Pike which closed in 2019).
