CVS #1842 Opened: 1993 Address: 1275 Pennsylvania Ave Photographed: October 2021 Before heading up to Maryland, we have one more drugstore in DC to take a look at -- CVS #1842. CVS #1842, a two-floor store, located just one mile from the Washington Monument and the White House, opened on January 20, 1993, with a much bolder design than it has today. In 2014, the building (including CVS) was remodeled a bit, and the exterior changed, becoming more subtle. As of October 2021, there is no exterior sign with lights, so even though it's open until 10pm (as of 10/26/21), you probably wouldn't see it at that hour unless you knew what you were looking for...
