After this, before heading back up to Pennsylvania, we've got a Rite Aid, then another Walgreens, then another Rite Aid, so stay tuned for all of that! Walgreens #11033, like most of the company's other Delawarean stores, started out as a Happy Harry's. Store #33 for the small chain, this store first opened in July 1966 at 792 Garfield Pkwy. On April 17, 2001, it was closed in order to relocate to its current location, 32979 Coastal Hwy, reopening on April 18, 2001. Like all the other Happy Harry's stores, #33 was converted to a Walgreens in 2006, being remodeled in 2011. This store has a strange exterior, not matching any other ground-up Happy Harry's from the era (It's not in a shopping center or anything, so I don't know what the deal is).
