First up - CVS #1650 in Hershey. CVS #1650, like most Central Pennsylvanian CVSes started out as a Peoples Drug Store, this one located at 25 Derrytown Mall. It opened on November 29, 1968 and became CVS in 1991. It was relocated to its current location, 130 Hockersville Road, in 1999. The history of store #1922 in Harrisburg is much more condensed. It opened in the late 1980s/early 1990s as a Fay's and became CVS in 1993.

GIANT #6539 Opened:  2016 Address:   5005 Jonestown Rd Photographed:  November 2021 Welcome back to Retail Forever! Today we've got our only Harrisburg supermarket this time around, Giant #6539. This Giant has a long history, starting out in the 1970s at 5007 Jonestown Rd. In 1991, it was relocated across the street to a new store in the Colonial Commons shopping center, 5074 Jonestown Road. It was remodeled in the 2000s, before relocating to 5005 Jonestown Rd (right next door to the original store from the 1970s) in November 2016. The current store was originally a Hill's, Ames, and Gander Mountain. The second store at Colonial Commons, which is now occupied by Hobby Lobby.

RITE AID #4260 Opened:  1996 Address:   4299 Union Deposit Rd Photographed:  November 2021 For our first and only stop in Harrisburg this time around, we have another installment of The Rite-Up.  This store was built in 1996 (I think), as an addition to the existing shopping center. In 2011, this store was the first of the chain's stores to feature the new Wellness decor package. In 2020/21, this store received the latest exterior remodel. There were two additional exterior designs this store used between 2011 and 2020, which can be found  here .

CVS #1624, located at 5001 Jonestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania originally opened its doors at the Colonial Park Mall as a Rea & Derick (store #40) on November 10, 1960. It was converted to Peoples Drug #1740 in 1984, and finally, became a CVS in 1991. In 2017, the store relocated from the mall to 5001 Jonestown Road, coincidentally directly across the street from last week's Rite Aid . Rite Aid #7894, located at 4999 Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania opened in February 2015 as the first ground-up Rite Aid built since 2010. The land below this store was formerly an office building that included a PNC Bank branch. In late 2020 or early 2021, like many other Rite Aid stores, the store received an exterior remodel to the newest company prototype, Rx Evolution . This store was featured in this 2016 video . Lancaster: 600 Park City Center Store #8 Built-in 1972 with the center as Watt & Shand (the 2-store chain's second location). Sold to Bon-Ton in 1992, and was remodeled around 2005. A furniture gallery was located across the street in a former Phar-Mor. This Bon-Ton closed in 2018 with the rest of the chain. Check out Will's photos of this store on Flickr to see it when it was still open. From Google Maps Streetview Harrisburg: 4400 Jonestown Road Store #32 Built-in 1960 with the center as Pomeroy's. Sold to Bon-Ton in 1990, and the store was re-bannered to Bon-Ton by 1990. This Bon-Ton closed in 2018 with the rest of the chain. Giant #6304, located at 4211 Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania opened around 2000 with the standard Giant exterior. This location has not received any new signage on the inside, as it still features the "Fun House 2" décor package.
