Giant opened its 45,000 sq. foot New Hampshire Avenue supermarket between 1957 and 1963 under the chain's Super Giant banner. When the Super Giant banner was discontinued, the exterior logo was updated. The logo was updated again in the early 2010s to the current Giant-Landover logo. This store was built and opened in the early-2000s as an Eckerd. It was converted to Rite Aid #11204 in 2007, and in 2019 it was converted to Walgreens #18255. The store is located at 13307 New Hampshire Avenue.  Google Maps Streetview doesn't go back in time enough at this location to see this store as an Eckerd, but it probably looked just like this .
