Giant #6028, located at 235 N. Reservoir Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania opened in July 1979 as the chain's first store in Lancaster County. The exterior was remodeled in the 1990s, making it more standard among other Giant stores, however, it was announced for closure (along with #6458 on Fruitville Pike) in March 2017, and it closed on May 17 of that same year. In February 2019, it was reopened as a pickup and delivery hub for Giant Direct, serving the greater Lancaster area
