Glimpse: CVS #4020 - Nottingham, PA

Image
CVS #4020 Opened:  2010 Address:   201 Fieldcrest Dr Photographed:  July 2021 Welcome back to Pennsylvania! Before heading over to York (where, surprise, surprise, I have more CVSes), we've got one more store to take a look at, that being CVS #4020 in Nottingham. Like all the other CVSes I've covered, this one is fairly extremely standard. It opened on June 20, 2010. Is it just me or is their signage a bit large?

Quick Look: Rite Aid #11193 - Rehoboth Beach, DE | The Rite-Up

Image
RITE AID #11193 Opened:  2007 Address:   18898 Rehoboth Mall Blvd Photographed:  July 2021 Before leaving Rehoboth Beach (well, all of Delaware actually), we've got one more drugstore to take a peek at -- Rite Aid #11193. Like many Rite Aid stores, this one started out as an Eckerd. Eckerd #6291 originally opened in the now-demolished Ames Plaza (approx address is 199 Ames Drive). That store became a Thrift Drug in 1982 before reverting to Eckerd in 1997. Eckerd then relocated to 18898 Rehoboth Mall Blvd, opening on March 18, 2001. It became Rite Aid #11193 in 2007. Entrance, facing the rest of the Rehoboth Mall Eckerd #6291 (Photo from Cape Gazette) Side of the store, visible from Highway One (aka Coastal Hwy) I'm afraid this is becoming a much too common sight among Rite Aid stores these days...

Glimpse: Weis #63 - Mount Joy, PA

Image
WEIS #63 Opened:  1967 Address:   441 W. Main St Photographed:  July 2021 Weis of Mount Joy, store #63, opened in 1967 with a similar design to #65 in Lancaster . It appears that this store was expanded to the right twice, once in the 1970s or 1980s and again in the 1990s. It was also refurbished, bringing the store almost to what it is today, except with a blue canopy and yellow lettering for all the exterior signage. It was remodeled again in 2004, swapping the yellow lettering for red, however, the canopy remained blue until 2011 or 2012.
