CVS #1624, located at 5001 Jonestown Road in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania originally opened its doors at the Colonial Park Mall as a Rea & Derick (store #40) on November 10, 1960. It was converted to Peoples Drug #1740 in 1984, and finally, became a CVS in 1991. In 2017, the store relocated from the mall to 5001 Jonestown Road, coincidentally directly across the street from last week's Rite Aid . Aldi's Rohrerstown store, their fourth in Lancaster County opened on August 21, 2019, and is located at 2210 Embassy Drive. It's a late addition to the Lime Spring Square shopping center, which opened in 2018, mostly with restaurants such as Panera, Chipotle, and Starbucks. Rite Aid #7894, located at 4999 Jonestown Road in Lower Paxton Township, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania opened in February 2015 as the first ground-up Rite Aid built since 2010. The land below this store was formerly an office building that included a PNC Bank branch. In late 2020 or early 2021, like many other Rite Aid stores, the store received an exterior remodel to the newest company prototype, Rx Evolution . This store was featured in this 2016 video . Grocery Outlet Bargain Market #724, located at 1500 N. George Street in York, Pennsylvania opened on August 4, 2016, as one of the only Grocery Outlet stores in Pennsylvania that was not formerly an Amelia's Grocery Outlet. The first of two Giant To Go locations, at 601 Richmond Dr, Manheim Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania opened in April 2009 as an addition to the Richmond Square shopping center (which was constructed in 2008) and as an experimental concept for GIANT Food Stores. Like the second store at 2339 Oregon Pike ), it was sold to Turkey Hill in 2015 and was rebranded later that year. Giant To Go, before being rebranded to a Turkey Hill in 2015 (LNP | LancasterOnline) Not much has changed since the Giant To Go days, the only notable difference being the logo changed on the facade and gas pumps. Stauffers of Kissel Hill's Lititz location, located at 1050 Lititz Pike in Lititz, Pennsylvania was previously located at 813 Lititz Pike, where it opened in 1937 (the original building is now the Stauffers Corporate Offices). The current store opened in 1985. By this point, it's basically the same as the Rohrerstown store, although it lacks things like a pharmacy and self-checkout registers that the newer Rohrerstown store features. One of the store's unique price tags.
